This Sunday morning, Kidrobot New York will be hosting an intimate needle felting workshop, A Token Of My Love, with artists Mariangela Tan (plushPLAY) and Justin Alan Volpe (POP Prolific). Beginning at 10:30am, Februrary 12, you can learn to needle felt by some of the bes do-it-yourself artisians out there. Justin and Mariangela will demonstrate and guide you in how to create you very own Wee Bunny Valentine, a 3-inch woolen bunny with a bold red heart for a tail. There are still a handful of spots available for this 3-hour, hands-on, all supplies included workshop. Register now for only $25 at Kidrobot New York (118 Prince Street, 212.966.6688). If workshopping isn’t your thing, you can also come down and get a bunny made plushPLAY. There will also be other needle felted goodies on display.

Get your fill of the tasty new Choice Cuts 10-inch Labbit TONIGHT, Thursday, February 9 from 7:30-9pm with LA’s finest meat mavens, Lindy & Grundy. Come meat the SF based artist as he celebrates this freshly cured release for one night only in a real life butcher shop. The first 50 hungry fans will get FREE specially prepared Choice Cuts sausages. Lindy & Grundy is located at 801 N. Fairfax in LA.

Last night Kidrobot Miami hosted their newest gallery opening with illustrator Spen1 and his solo exhibition “First Time For Everything.” Spen did a bangin’ job filling our intimate little gallery with new giclee canvas prints, drawings, t-shirts and original paintings, including a crispy custom Mega MUNNY. Art lovers and South Florida b-boys came through to meet the artist and indulge in Kidrobot cupcakes and custom sketches in blackbooks and on Mini MUNNYs. “First Time For Everything” will be on display through March 29.

Last Thursday, the long awaited FatCap Series 3 launched with trading parties going down at all Kidrobot stores and dozens of specialty retailers around the globe. Amongst the the trading frenzy, many FatCap artists held it down at their local release party to sign and sketch for their fans.
