There is no element of surprise with the iPod... u wear you groove you sleep... boring. The Sony Walkman creates a sense of anticipation, anxiety, fear... wondering when your next favorite cassette tape is going to be chewed to obsolescence! A shift from elated happiness to a state of depression in less than 5 seconds. You can't beat that for entertainment! I prefer the Sony Walkman over the iPod.
