Back in the old days, when the internet didn’t have Flash or Facepage, things were unfancy. If you wanted to see something move, you either needed a couple strong friends to jiggle your monitor or you were looking at an animated gif. No sound, no play button, and usually no tact, these simple looping animations were typically tacky and overused on what we’d call blogs now.
However, somebody is keeping the animated gif alive in beautiful monochromatic style. Check out the work of Hungarian designer, davidope.
