Céleste Boursier-Mougenot is a french composer and artist famed for making “interactive” music pieces. In this installation, he placed an electric guitar in a gallery full of birds to land and perch on the instrument, creating music that’s actually more bearable than your old college roommate’s ballads. (No, they do not play “Freebird.”)
Celeste Boursier-Mougnenot will be opening his newest show, harmonichaos in New York City tomorrow, February 19 at the Paula Cooper Gallery.
