Jeff Soto is an artist, designer and muralist who has exhibited in galleries and museums around the world. His distinct color palette, subject matter and technique resonate with a growing audience and bridge the gap between Pop Surrealism and Graffiti. Inspired by youthful nostalgia, nature, graffiti, hip-hop and popular culture, his bold and figurative work is simultaneously accessible and stimulating.
In 2002, Soto graduated with distinction from Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California. In 2008, his work was the subject of an exhibition at Riverside Art Museum.
Soto was born and raised in Southern California, where he currently resides with his wife and two daughters.

I saw his work in one of the Juxtapoz books. Also somewhere else. He's everywhere, and for good reason. I love his organic surreal style. There's something creepy in some of his works but always cheerful.

love the style. i watched this video fist without sound (during a meeting) and watched it again with sound. the thought process and concept really explain his work and totally make sense after a brief explanation.
I wouldnt necessarily say that brushes are a "no-no" in graffiti, maybe to a bomber who's concerned with typography only, but as an artist, the brushes really add the dimension you dont usually see in graffiti (aerosol only) murals. thumbs up to jeff!
