There is a comic-con in NYC — NYCC. This year's is in October. San Francisco has wonder con. And actually, there's at least one big convention in Chicago.

There should be different Comic Cons in different towns. There should be one in New York, one in LA, one in Miami, one in San Francisco, one in Chicago, and one in San Diego.
