Packing Tape Spiderweb Installation

Spider-Man has nothing on the insane packing tape installation created by design firm, Numen/For Use. The amazing project took place during the DMY International Design Festival Berlin, at a former stock exchange building. This being the third and largest installment, 530 rolls of clear packing tape were used to produce this monstrosity. Inspired from a performance dance set design in which dancers weave tape through out the space resulting in a clear cocoon stretching from wall to wall. Watch the video below to see a time lapse of the two day process. This September, For Use will be installing a new installation in a public square in Frankfurt, Germany.
