In collaboration with The Andy Warhol Foundation, Kidrobot will create only TWENTY individually crafted 20-inch Dunny sculptures based on one of the artist’s most famous images – the Brillo Box. The art is based on Warhol’s 1964 Brillo series which featured the popular cleaning product.

Kidrobot is proud to continue our partnership with The Met Museum, which first kicked off in 2020 with a Dunny collection for the 150th anniversary of the museum’s founding. This newest limited-edition line will celebrate highlights from the Museum’s collection and pay tribute to art lovers around the globe. This limited-edition 20-inch Dunny presents a new take on The Great Wave by Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, 1760–1849). The artful figure shows details from Hokusai’s famous woodblock print (ca. 1830–32), from his series of Edo-period prints in The Met collection.

Aki mainly works in character design and visual development for pre-development and production for animated feature films and television shows. Her clients include DreamWorks, Netflix, Supercell Games, GUND, SpinMaster Inc., and more.Aki is strongly motivated by stories and projects made with heart. When she isn’t drawing, she can be found playing with her cat Yuki or fiddling with her laser cutter.
