Japanese modern master, Takashi Murakami has brought his beautiful world of pop-manga to the Château de Versailles in France. Although some locals disagree with the choice of artist, the grand opening will debut tonight, September 14 and will be on exhibition through December 12.

I have been, and I disagree with you, the only disgrace here is your judgment.

i love it. i love murakami's works, and i love the contrast between classic art and contemporary art.
it's better than the koons exhibit that was also at versailles.

I have a great amount of respect for traditional art, but for some reason, I can't not like this….it gives me this sense of surrealism just looking at the photos. I wish I could be there, its almost gives me this eerie feeling on the back of my neck…like this pop-art-japanesque style has infultrated the softness and classic beauty thats expected and is almost taking over like a rapidly creeping vine…Iunno, its psyching me out in a good way! ^_^ Thanks for sharing!

definitely not bad taste….no form of art is to be discriminated from the next…
